METAL CONDITIONER AND RUST REMOVER

• DE.OX.IT Metal Conditioner is a carefully formulated phosphoric acid-based rust remover
• DE.OX.IT is essential for the thorough preperation of bare metal before painting
• DE.OX.IT removes all traces of visible and invisible rust
• DE.OX.IT is ready for use, or may be diluted with water if necessary - see below for technical details
• Available in 500 ml, 1 litre and 5 litre sizes

Preparation:

DE.OX.IT is ready to use, however may be diluted 2-3 parts of water to 1 part of DE.OX.IT if required.

Application:

Working on small areas at a time, apply onto bare metal areas with an abrasive pad. Before DE.OX.IT dries, wipe off with a wet cloth and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. If DE.OX.IT comes into contact with old repairs ( e.g. bodyfiller) and painted surfaces neutralise the area with water immediately.

Finishing:

Allow 15-20 minutes to activate then wipe down entire surface with methylated spirits and prime within 30 minutes. Clean up residue with water. Surface must be completely dry before painting. Paint as soon as possible.
